Pastoral Care

At Mareeba Aged Care, we offer compassionate Pastoral Care that supports the emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our residents and their families. We understand that moving into aged care can be a major life change, and our non-denominational program is here to provide comfort, connection, and support.

Church Services

We welcome all faiths and offer regular church services onsite:

  • Salvation Army – 1st Friday of each month
  • Lower Clarence Baptist Church – 2nd Friday of each month
  • Anglican Church – 3rd Friday of each month
  • Clarence Valley Community Church – 4th Friday of each month
  • Catholic Church – Every Saturday

Residents may also arrange visits from their own spiritual leaders at any time. Our aim is to ensure every resident feels supported, respected, and spiritually cared for in a way that’s meaningful to them.

“We work in such a precious environment with the opportunity to offer dignity and respect that the older members of our community deserve. We are privileged to be able to provide a place of safety; somewhere they can come in the later years of their life and live knowing that they’re safe; knowing they are well provided for; and knowing that the care that is offered is holistic care and doesn’t only embrace clinical care, but emotional, mental and spiritual care as well.”
