We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents enjoy healthy, well-balanced meals that enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals following the facility’s menu plans, dietary guidelines, and residents’ individual needs (including allergies and special dietary requirements).

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.

• Collaborate with the care team to gather feedback and adjust meals to residents’ preferences.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies in the kitchen and food preparation areas.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in an aged care or similar healthcare setting.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., Food Safety Certificate or equivalent).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for providing high-quality meals to enhance the lives of our residents.

• NDIS Screening Check or the ability to obtain

Registered & Enrolled Nurses: 
We are looking for part-time Registered & Enrolled Nurses to work morning or afternoon shifts. This opportunity requires flexibility within your shifts and your focus will be recognising resident needs and assisting them with services that enrich their daily living. In order to ensure that residents' individual care plan requirements are met, you will also provide comprehensive guidance to nursing and care staff.  The care you provide will have a lasting positive impact on our residents and their families. 

Within your varied day, you will:

  • Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings of individual client needs, ensuring that care strategies are based on evidence.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with client, their representatives and other members of the care team.
  • Maintain client documentation in accordance with electronic documentation and organisational and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers in the provision of services.

You are a dedicated clinician who can effectively communicate at all levels enabling you to achieve best nursing practices. Understanding the importance of providing quality care to our residents, you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact. You have excellent leadership skills and the ability to guide and direct our personal care workers onsite.

 Your experience and qualifications for the role should include:

  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Some residential aged care experience.
  • The ability to problem-solve using best practice methods and have demonstrated clinical knowledge.
  • High level of professional written and verbal communication.
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
  •  NDIS Screening Check, or ability to obtain.

Maintenance Position 

Hours: 7am til 3:30pm Monday til Wednesday

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Officer to oversee the day-to-day upkeep of our aged care facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the physical environment and ensuring that our residents enjoy a safe and well-maintained living space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the facility, including some basic skills electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

- Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance assessments.

-Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

-Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.

- Able to work in a team environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Basic understanding in maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.

- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical systems, and basic carpentry.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Kitchen Assistant Position

Rotating Roster Monday til Sunday 6am-8pm

        Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of ingredients, washing vegetables, and organizing food supplies.
  • Meal Service: Helping serve meals to residents, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and properly plated.
  • Cleaning: Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as keeping the kitchen tidy and sanitized.
  • Compliance: Adhering to food safety regulations, ensuring hygiene standards are met, and helping maintain health and safety practices in the kitchen.
  • Communication: Working closely with kitchen staff and care staff to meet dietary needs and preferences of residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: While formal qualifications may not be necessary, prior experience in food preparation or working in a kitchen environment is beneficial.
  • Food Handling Certification: A basic food safety certificate (desirable but not essential)
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly with both kitchen and care staff.

Position Overview:
As the Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a dedicated team that designs and delivers a wide range of recreational activities and lifestyle programs for our residents. Your role will focus on promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being through creative and engaging programs, ensuring that each resident’s individual needs and preferences are considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Leisure and Lifestyle team, providing guidance and support.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and meaningful activities and programs tailored to residents’ needs and preferences.
  • Ensure programs are delivered in accordance with individual care plans and aligned with the facility’s standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, encouraging social participation and physical activity.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of resident involvement and progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for residents.
  • Participate in the development of new initiatives to enhance the residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent qualification) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a leisure and lifestyle program in an aged care setting.
  • Knowledge of aged care standards and regulations, including the needs of elderly residents.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and engage with residents on a personal level.
