Easter fun on parade at Mareeba Aged Care

Posted 12 Apr '21

Despite the visitor restrictions in Northern New South Wales over Easter, residents and staff at Mareeba Aged Care in Maclean still enjoyed Easter.

Fun dress ups were on parade as was a special Easter cake to celebrate. Residents enjoyed an Easter Church service and were treated to an emotional performance by the Maclean Pipe Band.

Director of Nursing at Mareeba Rachel Bennett said, “Although it was a time when visitor restrictions were in place we were determined to make sure our residents still enjoyed Easter. It was great to see staff going the extra mile, as they always do, to ensure our residents have the best time possible.”
